Growth & Community Operator
This job is making sure everyone who could use Flatmir knows it exists. That need is the same everywhere Russian speakers relocate and organise on Telegram, which is what makes it bigger than one city.
What you’ll do
This is not agency SMM and it isn’t a content calendar. It has four parts:
Reach
- Find where our audience actually gathers: Telegram groups and channels first, but also VK, TikTok, Instagram and relocation bloggers.
- Real places too: residence-permit and relocation agencies, language schools, Russian shops, residential complexes.
- Learn each one honestly before we spend a dollar there: how alive it is, who runs it, what it costs, what’s allowed, what people there talk about.
- Then open the door, ideally as an ongoing partnership rather than a one-off post.
Direct outreach
- Write personally to people who are looking for a place right now.
- Tell them about Flatmir genuinely, one person at a time. Never spam.
Businesses
- Map the Russian-speaking real-estate world where you live: agencies, relocation and residence-permit services, property managers, building administrators.
- Make it a proper list: who they are, what they do, how to reach them.
- Then make the first contact and introduce Flatmir.
Read and report
- Everything you run is measured, so the job is also telling us what it means and what to do next.
- Which communities deserve money, what people complain about, where demand is moving.
- We decide together, on the same numbers.
Who you are
- Curious by nature: you’ll notice that one group brings twice the users of another, and you’ll want to know why.
- You keep us posted without being chased.
- You raise a problem while it’s still small.
- You start with the awkward part of the job instead of working around it.
- You’ll see exactly what your work produced (visits, new users, real listings and contacts), and so will we: shared numbers instead of reports about reports.
Where it can go
- The playbook is portable. It works anywhere a large Russian-speaking community organises on Telegram and the local rental sites are a hassle.
- Turkey, Georgia, Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Cyprus, the UAE, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali.
- What doesn’t transfer is living inside the community.
- So growth means turning your own playbook into something a local operator can run, then hiring and training those people.
- The path: operator → a small outreach team under you → opening new markets → running several of them.
Also send us
- Your languages, with an honest level for each: Russian, English, and the language of the country you live in.
- A few ideas:
- How would you organise this work and keep track of it?
- How would you get to know the property communities where you live well enough to genuinely introduce Flatmir to them?
- Where would you start?
- We’re open to guerrilla tactics: an unconventional idea that would actually work interests us more than a polished answer.
